Al Torrione

The owner is really kind and ready to help with anything. The rooms are lovely and clean, and it's right in the city center. I've stayed at most of the hotels in Reggio, but this is the only one I use now. Absolutely the best place in Reggio.

Good location and comfortable beds, but you get little for the low price. The room felt cold and dated, and both the toilet and heating worked poorly.

I liked the simple, clean room and the very friendly owner. It's in an excellent location, reasonably priced, and dog friendly. That kind of price is rare these days. I'll definitely be back!

The central location and roomy layout were the only real positives for us. The rest felt like stepping back to the interwar years, and not in a good way. Everything was very old: the blankets brought to mind military barracks, and the shower is best judged from the photo. There was constant noise from construction on the ground floor. The hair dryer was toy-sized and barely worked, so we skipped washing our hair during our two days there. There was no iron, although the amenities listed paid ironing service. In practice, the owner or manager sent us to a laundromat up the hill. Cobwebs at the entrance made the place look abandoned, and the plug-in heater was very close to the bed, which seemed risky. If the sheets hadn't been clean, we'd have had to go somewhere else.
