Casual Stay Galileo

The breakfast was meager: toasted bread and just one serving of chocolate or jam with the coffee. The coffee machine on the first floor was there, but waiting for a capsule. Housekeeping was basically absent, and by the fifth day ants were coming in from the terrace. That terrace, in our second-floor room, was dirty and had a rusty ladder left on it. The boiler and sink were in poor condition too. In the bathroom, the Venetian blind was broken and the shower curtain wouldn't slide, which made me wonder whether it was cleaned between guests. The air conditioning couldn't regulate the temperature. I hope the owner fixes these things and improves breakfast, because then the place could match other properties in the area.

The location is excellent, and the service was good. The rooms could feel a bit more upscale, though, and there was no milk at breakfast.

The person running the B&B was very attentive and suggested places for us to see. It's well placed for walking to the city's points of interest, though the services on offer are pretty minimal.

Right in the city center, this is a clean, comfortable place. The rooms feel elegant, and the fabrics are excellent, from their scent to how well they're ironed.
