I had a bad experience. The bathroom was under a square meter apart from the small shower, and its ventilation wasn’t working. The room door also wouldn’t close.

The room was welcoming, clean, and had air conditioning, and the location was great. The owner was extremely helpful, and the reliable woman looking after the property was capable and always on hand. I’d suggest adding a couple of balcony chairs so guests can use it, and replacing the room fridge since it doesn’t cool properly. Thank you ❤️

Waking up to fresh coffee and croissants, along with the good mood of the people running the place, was a lovely start to the day. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were so elegant, beautiful, and clean that it hardly felt like a bed and breakfast. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find excellent Prosecco chilling in an ice bucket. The room itself was impeccably decorated, with soft rugs on the floor and fragrant flowers on the coffee table. The whirlpool tub and shower were wonderful, and the blue lighting made the atmosphere feel magical. If someone asked me where to stay in Reggio Calabria, I’d definitely point them to LA CASA DEI SOGNI.

The power cut out one afternoon, leaving me in the dark for more than half an hour. I also had no privacy when guests arrived in the room next door: the door between us seemed so flimsy it could blow open, and I could hear everything. The room faced the street, so there was plenty of traffic noise. I spotted mold marks on the window too, and the closet was tiny and wobbly. The place looked beautiful in the photos, so I booked, but the stay was a letdown. A young man arrived late to let me in and asked for payment up front. I travel a lot, mostly for work, and nobody had ever asked me to pay in advance before. Breakfast wasn’t included, and I was told to sort myself out. They didn’t even offer me a coffee. The room was clean, but the TV was bolted to the ceiling. I’d booked the room described as having a jacuzzi, then found it was just a shower. I don’t understand all the positive reviews, and to me they’re a little misleading. I’d say don’t go.
