La Lampara

The rooms were decent, and the staff were friendly. The hotel sits right by the ocean. There’s plenty of street parking, and the hotel also has its own parking available.

It’s easy to get around without a car: the city center is nearby, as are a pharmacy, shop, supermarket, and train station. In summer, families can reach the sandy beach in just a few steps. Hotel La Lampara is open all year, even through winter, and works well for business travelers. The hotel is right on the seafront, with rooms that look out to sea, and there’s an excellent seafood restaurant serving fresh local fish. Cleanliness was superb, the beds were large and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. For me, it’s the best hotel in Reggio Calabria.

The staff were always punctual, and the owners were sincerely warm and helpful. We spent two days here and really enjoyed it, especially our room’s beautiful view of the sea and Sicily. Highly recommended, and heartfelt thanks to the owners.

The restaurant was welcoming and elegant without being formal, a nice setting for either dinner with friends or a romantic evening. There was a good choice of dishes made with fresh ingredients, carefully presented, and the flavors were well balanced. Staff were attentive and friendly, with useful suggestions for food and wine, and the prices felt good for the quality. I also had a positive hotel stay for a few days. The location was easy to reach and close to the main attractions. My room was spacious, clean, and had the essentials, while the staff were helpful and ready to respond to requests. Breakfast had a varied spread of fresh, quality products. I’d recommend it for work trips or a vacation.
