B&B Pellicano Guest House

There was lots to do around the B&B, and the shopping promenade and water were only a short walk away. Lorenzo kindly gave us a list of nearby things to do and included tickets for breakfast at a local cafe. The room was excellent and chic, well decorated and maintained, nicely cool, and the bedding was comfortable. Highly recommend just booking here if you're considering it.

Feeling safe as a woman traveling alone made the stay even better. Lorenzo and Bernadette were so warm and helpful, with thoughtful recommendations and lots of care. The Pellicano guest house was in a brilliant spot, and my room was clean and homely. I loved being there and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend!

The castle nearby is worth a visit, and so is the Dome/Cathedral. For breakfast, we had some confusion over whether it was included. The guest house serves croissants and brioche, as many Italian places do, but I had to pass since I don't eat sugar in the morning. I'd suggest Zanzitalia, a panini place where you can eat for 3,50EUR. Brioche and croissants might suit French guests better. The host was kind when I met him briefly during another guest's check-in, and he made sure the wine was good. The San Francesco 2022 was indeed very good. The Asian room service lady also seemed kind. We stayed two nights in a well-located B&B with nicely furnished interiors. The owner pays attention to small details, including different room fragrances on the main floor that you can buy cheaply. I couldn't buy one because of my low baggage limit. The room had a modern look, plus Pellicano-private label water and a complimentary bottle of wine, which is included in some accommodations, as I know from frequent travel.

It's a very central base for much of the city's social life, and the secured parking took away some of the stress of staying here. The Wi-Fi was fantastic, so working from here should be no problem. The staff went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. The A/C worked great and the bed was comfortable. One small drawback: the doors are thin, so loud conversations or whining children can be heard when people are in shared areas or other doors are open. Everything else was fantastic, and I'd definitely stay again.
