Casa Nel Bosco

We noticed the poor cleanliness as soon as we arrived. There was dust everywhere, and cobwebs and all kinds of spiders in the corners of the walls and across the ceiling. There was no shower in the bathroom. Since it's a B&B, we expected breakfast, but the only thing there was a coffee machine that didn't work. Not an experience I'd repeat.

The shower was freezing, and when we called reception to get it fixed, nobody answered. The triple room was tiny for three adults, and the service was terrible. For three days the rooms weren't cleaned, the blankets and towels weren't changed, and they didn't even replace the toilet paper. The surrounding landscape made the place look promising when we arrived, but it was a real letdown. We only stayed because nothing nearby was available. At checkout the owner finally appeared and asked how things had gone. You can imagine my answer...!!! 😡😡😡😡😡

We were only at the property overnight, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and had trouble reaching the owner the previous afternoon. We called twice while he was busy, and he didn't answer WUP. At 7:15 PM, he wasn't at the B&B for the check-in we'd agreed on a few hours earlier, so we had to delay meeting until 11:00 PM, when we paid for the room. In the morning, the only toilet paper was the quarter roll by the toilet. There was soap for the shower the night before, but none at the sink or bidet. A real disservice, with no toilet paper or bidet soap!

I found a large mouse in the toilet, struggling to get out. It wasn't a field mouse, but a big one with a furry tail about the size of a pinky. When I called the owner, he first tried to convince me it was a squirrel. Once he realized I didn't believe that, he said this wasn't the first time and they'd look into where the rats were coming from. I absolutely don't recommend this place.
