Novahotel

The hotel itself was good, but the room had such a strong cigarette smell that I couldn't sleep. We had no idea where it was coming from. We left the window and door open for three hours and sprayed fragrance, but the odor stayed. It felt crazy that they hadn't checked the room before giving it to guests. Why let people smoke in the rooms? The smell made the room feel cheap.

The staff were friendly and cooperative, and the way they treated guests was commendable. It’s a lovely, peaceful hotel that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in several countries. I highly recommend it.

There was a heavy smoke smell in room 124, which was poorly cleaned, and they refused to move us. I’m not the first person to complain about this. There was hair on the shower towel, and it wasn’t mine. The man at reception wasn’t prepared to help, saying he only worked nights and couldn’t do anything. The service was very bad. There are better places nearby for a similar price.

The two things that bothered me were breakfast without fresh rolls for the meat and cheese, and the bathroom door in my twin room had no lock. I was sharing with a work colleague. Otherwise, it’s a handy in-town hotel above a supermarket, with plenty of parking and friendly staff. Reception is pleasant, and you can buy an alcoholic drink there.
