The rooms are modern and clean, and there’s a car park with electric charging points, plus a gym, pool, and bar. It’s on the more residential side of town. The air conditioning didn’t work, though, and the room was very hot.

We really liked the big rooms, especially the two-bedroom suites, which are rare in hotels and great for families. Breakfast was an amazing buffet, with delicious food and great service. The rooms were clean, and the decor was fun and quirky. The building itself has lovely traditional architecture, while the feel inside is modern with a nod to the classic.

Cosenza isn’t a beautiful town, so Hotel Europa is a welcome safe haven. There’s secure parking onsite with charging for electric cars, or an underground garage if you prefer. The Wi-Fi is stable, and there’s even a swimming pool you can use on arrival day, even for a one-night stay. Rooms are a good size with nice bathrooms, and breakfast is excellent, with savory choices as well as the usual Italian sweet options.

The facilities are great, and the room was lovely. Breakfast was good, with cooked options, and the pool was very nice. But the staff were really unfriendly. They didn’t speak or smile, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The hotel had no atmosphere because everyone seemed so cold.

The breakfast was generous and served very nicely, with some local products, while following COVID-19 rules. The pool is available, with a changing room and shower. A very good place, and the staff were very kind.
