Nice.

The owners were warm and helpful, and the price felt like great value. Rho station is just a short walk away.

A few of the amenities look dated, though they've been kept in good shape. The place is quiet despite being close to the station, and the price is very good.

The towels were stiff as cardboard, tiles were coming loose beneath the bed, and the soap dispensers wouldn't work even when full. I also found visible dirt on parts of the floor, cigarette burns in the couch, an unpleasant smell from the bed, and fecal marks on the outside of the toilet bowl. There was a no-smoking sign in the room. The check-in felt uncomfortable from the outset. A woman from Eastern Europe was there to welcome us, though I had to go looking for her. As she took my companion and me along the corridor to our room for the night, she complained about a strong fish smell. At the door she remarked that someone had smoked in the room, then left. That makes me wonder whether it had been checked before we were given it. After seeing this and reading the many reviews, I have to ask whether anyone is doing anything to upgrade the building. Are sanitary inspections happening at all? The conditions clearly weren't up to the standard they should be. Very bad. I wouldn't return or recommend it.
