The location and rooms were decent, so those are the two stars from me, though the bathrooms weren’t very clean. Reception was awful, and the director didn’t seem to care whether you understood him as long as you paid. There’s a restaurant menu for 30€ with three dishes, but nobody mentioned that everyone in the room had to order it to get the discount. We ordered one menu and one dish on its own, then found out the next day we were charged separately, which made it way overpriced. Don’t bother eating there. Tropea has restaurants for about the same prices, with a nicer setting.

The covered outdoor restaurant is a lovely place for dinner, with a great view over the Mediterranean and the coasts of Tropea. They cook with fresh ingredients each day, including vegetables grown in their own yard. The carbonata was the best I’ve ever had, and I’m Italian. Each time we arrive at this peaceful, heavenly place, the owner and staff welcome us warmly. The owner, “Ciccio,” is a pleasant, helpful guy. The rooms and apartments, pool, and grounds are all really clean, and staff cleaned the rooms every day, bringing fresh towels and tissues. It’s not like the other places we saw in Italy. I’d recommend this little piece of heaven to anyone wanting to understand the Italian way of life. Best place to stay in Calabria.

We had such a lovely time here. The kitchen served perfect Calabrian specialties, and the owners Ciccio and Lorenzo were kind and helpful to my daughter and me. We’ll definitely come back. Lots of good energy and love from Lourdes Furci.

The views are picturesque, with a highland feel and a nice pool. It’s a cozy place with very friendly staff, and a good spot for couples or families looking to relax. The quickest way to the beach is by personal car.

A quiet setting, lovely views, and a pool make for a nice atmosphere. The owner was friendly, and the fresh food grown at home was delicious.
