We stayed for a wonderful week at the beginning of September, my wife, our one-year-old daughter, and me. The staff were amazing and helpful, especially Dominik and Sofia. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained, with a beautiful garden. Dinners were excellent, and the sea was calm and the beaches clean, so our child could play by the water without worry. The Luxury rooms are newly renovated, very nice, and have air conditioning. A larger store, COOP, is a 12-minute walk uphill. Breakfast could be better, especially with fresh fruit instead of canned. The hotel is far from any promenade, and you can't get to a gelateria or café. There is only the hotel restaurant, where ice cream and caffee are available, which is ok, and two beach restaurants. The only good pizza is along the beach to the north, at the last restaurant before the cliff. The hotel offers a transfer to Tropea, but it's not suitable for daily trips, so you'll probably use it just once or twice. Overall: 4.6/5.

The grounds and pool look nice, and the hotel is attractive at first glance. The food could be very good, with a good range of options, but the quality varied and too often felt like school dinners. Breakfast got a bit repetitive too. The worst problem was no a/c. The controls were installed, but the system itself was missing, which made nights really unpleasant. The location is decent, near the sea, with a beach shared with another hotel. Without your own wheels, though, you're stuck with an over-priced taxi to the nearest small town. It costs €40 for a family of 4 to go to a town only km away. WiFi is a shocking €15 per laptop. Each room has a fridge, but using it costs €10 per day. What could be a nice hotel is spoiled by profiteering on extras you'd normally expect to be free, and by lacklustre food.

We spent a week here in mid June and really enjoyed this quiet place. The beach is close by and wasn't crowded. Our room was clean and spacious, and the food was simple but tasty throughout our stay. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful. A lovely girl at reception, we think her name was Olympia, answered all our questions. There are a few restaurants and a shop within walking distance too. If you want somewhere peaceful to relax, this ticks all the boxes. Definitely recommend.
