At the last-minute price, staying at hotel Adigrat was well worth it. The room was a little small but had a nice balcony, and the reception hosts were great.

We had to cancel the weekend we’d booked just a day earlier. I asked to move the booking to another weekend, but the explanations kept changing: first they said a June weekend couldn’t be accommodated, then that changes weren’t possible less than two days ahead, even though Booking had validated my request within that period. It seemed like an easy change to make, but they kept the money. Customer service felt nonexistent, with no attempt to understand or negotiate. I wouldn’t stay here if you expect reasonable treatment. Pay a little more somewhere that respects you as a paying customer. Ciao.

The owner, Luigi, charged us for the room and two breakfasts even after we explained we could not get to the hotel. We had booked for May 19-20, but flooding in Emilia Romagna made Riccione inaccessible by train, bus, or car. We cancelled two days before and called again on the morning of our reservation to explain there was no way to arrive. Luigi still refused to cancel, and when we later went to the hotel to speak with him, he remained focused on the money. Two days' notice apparently wasn't enough for him, even with the flooding.
