Hotel Adriatica

A great hotel right in the centre of Riccione, with a fabulous restaurant.

Lovely.

Breakfast alone would bring me back. The staff in the breakfast room were so efficient and welcoming, bringing hot drinks, fresh-squeezed juice and warm croissants to our table. They kept the buffet well stocked with fresh, quality food: cakes, pastries, jams, cereals, spreads, biscuits, stuffed pancakes, freshly baked pizza and focaccia, scrambled eggs with crisp bacon, savory croissants, cured meats and cheeses, yogurt and fresh fruit. Everything else was top-notch too. The reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome when my partner and I stayed for Valentine's Day. Even in the off-season, everything was just right. Our room was in the annex beside the hotel. It was small but cozy, spotless and had everything we needed in the bathroom, plus a large TV, safe and air conditioning with a heat pump that warmed the room well. Housekeeping was very efficient. The location is ideal, between the beach and the shopping centre, with direct access to Viale Dante, full of shops, bars and restaurants. There’s an indoor outdoor pool, closed while we were there in February. A truly lovely stay, my compliments.

The hotel is very central and close to the beach, but the nightlife nearby didn’t disturb us. Our standard room had everything we needed, though the TV wasn’t smart. We appreciated being able to leave our bags and spend the morning at the beach when we arrived, and they gave us a cold bottle of water both then and before we left. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, although finding a clean, free table was a bit difficult. It was a pleasant stay, and we’ll definitely be back.
