I really wouldn’t recommend staying here. The rooms are dated, with holes in the doors, and the toilets were encrusted. Staff were rude and unprofessional from the first day, and the food was no better, with very salty pasta and raisin bread. The night watchman was the one person who was truly kind. When my room door wouldn’t lock, we told reception, but after five or six hours she said there was nothing she could do. In the end, a friend staying next door had to fix it for us.

The location is the one real plus, close to the sea, the center, and a bus stop. It could work for young people looking for a cheap place to sleep between outings. The staff were reasonably friendly, but the rest was disappointing. There’s no air conditioning, just fans that look ready to fall off. The food was poor, dinner service incredibly slow, and breakfast sparse and poor too. Our room for five had a tiny bedroom and bathroom, only three outlets and no power strip for phones, and no hair dryer. The night watchman slept instead of staying attentive.

The rooms were small and dirty, and the food was awful: very salty, with pasta that was always undercooked and bread that was always stale. Staff were very rude too. I’d asked specifically for valet parking when I booked, but on arrival they said it hadn’t been reserved, leaving me to spend ages hunting for a space in the evening. I came with friends for a summer holiday, and this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The dining room staff are excellent, especially Rocco, who’s making our holiday fun. He’s professional, friendly, cheerful, and helpful, and really makes guests feel at home. Margherita, the dining room assistant, is lovely, kind, professional, and helpful too. The chef serves a wide range of excellent, refined dishes. The hotel itself is modest and good value, though the room cleanliness could be better. We’re only on day three of our holiday.

We spent Easter here as a family, and the room was awful despite the fairly low price. There wasn’t a double bed, just two singles, one broken, and the children’s beds were broken as well. The bathroom was hard to get into. To make matters worse, a dog in the next room kept us up until 2 a.m.; the owners had left him alone to go partying, and only came after they were called about my complaints. The restaurant wasn’t great either, and coffee or cappuccino at breakfast cost extra. I’ll never stay here again.
