From the 5th floor, the view was lovely. Getting anywhere by lift took ages, though.

The hotel is right across the street from its partner beach, which cost 25 euro a day. It seemed very family-friendly, but I could have done without all the dogs. Nobody asked whether I wanted a beach that allowed animals. My room was a decent size and kept clean, but the sheets were made up each time and never changed. The Wi-Fi could be slow, and I sometimes heard my neighbors quite clearly. Dinner service was friendly, and I realize the delays may have been outside the staff's control. Still, unless you arrived in the first half hour after dinner started, you could wait half an hour just to order. The staff were busy, and getting refills was difficult. Wine came with the meals, but beer didn't. No one mentioned that, or showed me the price of a small beer, which must have been over 4 euro. The bill I received at the end didn't list how many beers I'd had. I booked through a third-party site at first, then the hotel asked me to book directly, which was fine. Paying was a hassle, though, since they don't take PayPal, only credit cards or some Italian payment service that you have to set up.

The food and the staff were both lovely, and I had a great stay. From the balcony, though, you had to stand up to see the sea because the wall was so high.

The room had enough space, and both it and the sheets were clean and tidy. The internet was very good too. For what you pay, the hotel offers excellent value.
