Hotel Lungomare

The beach booking took a little sorting out at first, but Manager Valentina made sure we had a place and the services we needed. The staff throughout Lungomare were polite and understanding, and Emilio and Sandra made meals especially memorable. At breakfast and dinner, the waiters were attentive and handled our concerns so well that we felt really looked after. Staying in an apartment while getting hotel-style service was new for us. The receptionist helped arrange what we needed before we arrived. Our apartment was comfortable and roomy enough, with Wi-Fi, cable, three air conditioning units and a nice bathroom. We also appreciated that cleaning was included. Lungomare is well organized, and we’d happily return. It made our Riccione vacation a very good one.

The terrace at Settimo Piano is a lovely place to take in the beach views, and the hotel sits right by the sea, near the small marina and its nice restaurants. Our room was a reasonable size, though its bathroom felt very cramped. We booked a ‘Deluxe’ sea view room, but most of what we saw was a row of trees. If seeing the sea from your room matters, ask for a higher floor.

The daily cleaning that comes with the hotel arrangement was convenient, and having an underground garage was a real plus. The apartment was clean and quiet, with a helpful, responsive staff. Its location is great for the beach as well as the shopping and restaurant areas. I also liked that the website shows pictures of each apartment. The Wi-Fi didn’t work properly, which kept this from being a five-star stay for me.

The staff are really polite and quick, and they greet you with a smile. They also give you some information about the ingredients in the food and drinks. The view is nice, too. The cocktails aren’t among the best, though they’re acceptable for the location. Most credit cards are accepted, including Amex.
