Laura and Ugo were the kind of hosts you hope to find. The place is spotless, a little peaceful gem just outside Cinque Terre. Ugo even joined me for a run along the Park. Thanks, mate, I really appreciated the run and your company. I strongly recommend staying here.

We had booked a vacation package two years ago, after the reviews made the place sound wonderful. The owners first assigned us an apartment, then canceled it a week before our stay with what felt like a lame excuse. They may have found something better, but offered no alternative, just a discount if we stayed in the future, and left us to make other plans. I can't remember whether I wrote a review then. I was so disappointed that I gave up and found another lovely alternative. Seeing this place online by chance brought the unpleasant memory back, so I feel I should share what happened. That's our experience. Even a bad one teaches you something, so despite it all, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Quaratica is a charming village inland, still much as it was in the early 1900s. A walk beneath its arches feels cool and pleasant, and there are lots of public fountains. The woods are only a short stroll away.
