Le Rondini

An old-fashioned hotel with real charm. The room had everything we needed, right down to slippers and a toothbrush. The owner was lovely, helpful, and very accommodating. We’d happily recommend the place and stay again if we get the chance.

We were tempted to order even more after trying the food. The pasta with four cheeses and salmon, Parmigiana pizza, and Scalopine with funghi were all superb and full of flavor. We finished with fresh strawberries and homemade Panna Cotta, both lovely. We also had Pugliese red wine and a liter of beer. The place is tucked away and has a cool atmosphere, though at first glance you might mistake it for a canteen. Tripadvisor and the tenant at our hotel in La Spezia had both recommended it. I almost never give restaurants five stars, maybe only 5-8 times in my whole life, but this one absolutely deserves them. Strongly recommend it.

Fantastic staff, a very good breakfast included in the price, and parking included too. Absolutely top hotel if you’re visiting Cinque Terre!

The staff were unfriendly and turned down our request to eat here at around 21:30, saying the restaurant was full. That didn’t seem true: we could see empty tables, and they stayed empty afterward.
