Re Leone Bed and Breakfast

The owner lives on the property, but is discreet, friendly, and helpful, and goes out of his way to share information. The rooms are clean, with housekeeping in both the morning and afternoon. Bathrooms are shared. Each room has a charming wooden “Do Not Disturb” sign for anyone who’d rather not be interrupted. The windows are well finished and maintained, and the exterior shutters can be closed to block sunlight. The B&B is in the Riese Pio X area, where Saint Pius X was born, with a museum next to his birthplace. It’s somewhat out of the way, though there’s a restaurant nearby, a well-stocked tobacconist, and a Eurospin about 800 meters away.

The owner, Alessandro, deserves a heartfelt thank you for being available and professional, and for the care he puts into his work. The accommodation was lovely, from the rooms and services to the living room and the very comfortable building. It really felt like home. The wonderful majolica stove made it feel even warmer!

Alessandro, the owner, is genuinely lovely and attentive. The house is beautiful and well kept, and the ceramic stove by the entrance makes me want to return in the colder months. The rooms and the large shared bathroom were spotless. Breakfast is a generous, typical Italian spread, and the manager is incredibly helpful if you ask for anything. There’s a nice fan in each room for warm weather. Even in the heat, I slept very well. I recommend this place to everyone.

I spent five days at this B&B. It’s hard to believe there’s just one bathroom for four rooms, or ten beds. The towels and sheets weren’t changed at all. At €60 a night, breakfast was another €6 per day. I wouldn’t recommend it.
