Hotel Hofbrunn

Fantastic!

Loved it.

Really superb.

The location made it easy to get around, with Merano about ten minutes away by car and a bus stop right by the front door. Tirolo is close too, Schenna works well as a hiking destination, and there’s even a footpath to Merano. The views are lovely, and the hotel is well placed for walks and excursions. We found the atmosphere relaxing, and the price felt fair for what we got. Our room was roomy and clean, with a view over the garden, its two pools, the mountains, and Schenna. There’s an elevator as well. Breakfast was a generous buffet, and dinner had plenty of choice: a self-serve salad bar, two starters, two intermediate courses, a selection of meat, fish, vegetarian, or children’s mains, three desserts, and cheese to help yourself to. Everything we ate was delicious and nicely presented, and I think there’s something to suit everyone. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, and took care of every request. I enjoyed the outdoor infinity pool and whirlpool, both with views, and there was lots of garden space for sunbathing under parasols. I didn’t try the indoor pool. The two saunas and heated loungers were included at no extra charge. A lovely hotel for relaxing and enjoying yourself.
