Pension Margreth

Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, with mountain views, fresh regional choices, fruit, crusty bread, jams, and great coffee specialties. Everything came with a smile, and they were happy to accommodate special requests. I was lucky to find a room spontaneously for a few days, and the welcome and farewell were both heartfelt. The location is peaceful but central, good for getting into town or hiking nearby. A lovely, relaxed place to experience South Tyrol. I’ll definitely be back and recommend this bed and breakfast.

The bus stop is very close, and the central location means Merano is only 10 minutes away, making trips to town or the mountains easy. The hosts gave us the best service I’ve ever had, and we wanted for nothing. Though it was bed and breakfast, there were freshly tapped drinks each evening, and we could help ourselves to the drinks fridge any time.

We had beautiful, spacious, clean rooms and almost the whole upper floor to ourselves as a family. The hosts were genuinely friendly, especially the owner, who made us feel so welcome. The garden and pool were clean and nicely landscaped. Breakfast had plenty of variety and something for everyone, though we would have liked a little more fruit. Fresh eggs were available every day. We’ve already booked our thoughts on coming back next year, after four visits that have made us feel right at home. The regular guests add to that familiar feeling. Margreth and Rudolf are kind, helpful, and always friendly, and never hesitate to lend a hand. Pension Margreth has clean rooms, a good breakfast, and a well-kept garden with a pool. In the evenings it’s pleasant to have a glass of wine or something similar and chat with other guests about the day. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
