Agriturismo Vultaggio

The staff were so kind and patient with the language barrier, and I loved the dogs on the property. We only booked half board, which was our one regret, because the food was incredible. It was a beautiful way to experience the Sicilian countryside. I hope to order some olive oil to take home, it was the best we’ve ever tried.

After five days at Agriturismo Vultaggio, my partner and I came away with nothing to complain about. The food was divine, the room comfortable, and the staff very friendly. You can tell the owners, who are almost always on site, really care about the business and their clients.

We stayed as a group of four in one of the glamping tents. It’s set among olive and citrus groves, so the place feels peaceful, and the tent is almost a small studio with air conditioning, towels, and the things you need. A car, rental or otherwise, is highly recommended for getting there and exploring nearby. The restaurant was a highlight, with sea and Egadi Islands views, a varied menu, and an impressive wine list. The pool is spacious, has plenty of loungers, and you can get drinks by the pool for a relaxing afternoon. Breakfast was part of our stay, fresh and varied each morning, with items continually replenished. Everyone we met, from reception to the restaurant team and cleaners, was friendly, helpful, and keen to make the stay pleasant. Highly recommended!

We had dinner at the restaurant on four of our five evenings, and both the food and wine were great. The service was outstanding, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating throughout our stay at Vultaggio. We were there for an international shooting competition in Trapani and brought our dog, who was very welcome too. We’ll definitely return for next year’s competition, and might try the glamping then. We’ve already recommended Vultaggio to friends at the shooting range, who joined us for dinner one evening. Thank you!
