A beautiful spot in the Alps, in a little hamlet of just six houses. It’s lovely for hiking, but also for simply resting. You can drive up, though it’s quite remote, so I’d bring groceries. They can make fantastic five-course dinners if you request one. I’ve stayed twice this year and plan to return next year. Highly recommended!

A lovely hideaway when you need to get away from everyday life. The views are wide open, the rooms are pleasantly done, and there’s a generous breakfast waiting for you. Leave the car by the road, then walk 300m up to the Walser House. You can start a hike right outside. Thanks, Nicola, for the warm welcome!

Suite 4 was lovely, and the sauna was just right on a rainy afternoon. We liked how the original building has been respected while still adding modern comfort and design. Nicola, Stefy, and Morgana made us feel so welcome in these beautiful mountains. Breakfasts were fantastic, and Saturday dinner was delicious too. The place brings real peace to the soul. One small tip for future guests: bring earplugs. Sound carries through the wooden structure, so you may hear neighbors getting up or talking at night. We’ve already told friends about it and recommend it here too. We hope to be back soon :) Elena & Scott

The rooms are warm, comfortable, and welcoming, much like Nicola, who’s always ready with suggestions and help. Every room has a kitchenette, but for local dishes you’ll want to plan meals at nearby inns or restaurants. Breakfast is very generous and changes each day, definitely worth trying. The village sits tucked into the mountains, with clean air, peace, and quiet all around. It’s a great place to step away from city chaos. The apartments have Walser-style furnishings, stone walls, wood paneling, and plenty of comforts. Would I return? Of course, yes, in summer, to enjoy the walks up to the mountain pastures.

Walserhouse is a great place to unwind, and we weren’t disappointed. My boyfriend and I stayed there over the weekend of May 20th, in Suite 4. The view was spectacular and everything was so quiet. The suite was fantastic, all wood, with a fireplace and sauna, a real treat for anyone who loves the mountains. The hosts, Nicola and Stefania, were so kind and generous. We didn’t get to meet Nicola in person, but Stefania looked after us so well and was always helpful and lovely.
