For a three-star hotel it’s not bad, though there’s room for improvement.

The beaches are spacious and nearby, and the sea is magnificent. The hotel staff were wonderful and spoke Italian, English, Ukrainian, Russian, and German. The Italian food was excellent, with several dishes to pick from. During our seven days, we never had the same dinner dish twice.

The meals were a real highlight. The chef made tasty Italian food, there was always plenty, and dinner was different each night. Our room was comfortable and spotless, with new plumbing, air conditioning, a safe, and a TV. The mattresses were fantastic and we slept really well. We came as a family of four, with two adults and two children. The hotel is very close to the beach, and each room has a balcony. There’s also a private pool. From our balcony we had lovely views of the sea and the sunsets. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and never intrusive. We could speak English or German at reception, and the women serving in the dining room spoke Russian. The interior looks a little old-fashioned in places, but the warm, cosy feel more than made up for that. As my daughter put it, “a great vibe.” We left smiling and feeling at ease. The hospitality, cleanliness, food, and atmosphere won us over. Honestly, five stars!

I was surprised in a good way, and can’t understand all the bad reviews. The welcome was very warm, and the staff stayed friendly throughout our visit. The hotel is close to the sea, and our room had a safe. Air conditioning costs extra. At dinner there were two menus to choose from, along with a salad buffet. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the chef deserves credit.
