The beach is only a short distance away, and the staff were exceptionally friendly throughout, from the bar and reception to the dining area. They always had a smile and did their best to make the stay pleasant. Room 310 was in an unacceptable state. The floor was dirty and the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned. The children's sheets and pillowcases were folded and left on the bed instead of the beds being made. The room was poorly cleaned, if it was cleaned at all. We had breakfast early, between 8 and 9 a.m., so there should have been enough time to clean. I don't want to judge the whole housekeeping team, but whoever was responsible for room 310 from 16/08 to 28/08/2024 let the place down. It's a shame when the rest of the staff work so hard to maintain the hotel's reputation.

The staff and location were great, and the rooms were well soundproofed, just 20m from the beach. The hotel looks renovated from outside, and there's a pool as well. Parking close to the Hotel was FREE. The rooms could use some renovation, but we had a great stay and will definitely come back. Mit freundlichen Grüßen. Liam

We had a great stay at Hotel de France and I'll book again next year. The pool was good for the kids, and the staff, pool service, and restaurant were excellent. The rooms were good too, though the douching cabin was a little too small for a big guy like me. The location is excellent, close to the beach and shops. Check-in was quick and easy. There's parking behind the hotel, or you can get a card for another secured parking lot 200 meters away. It's a four-minute walk back to the hotel, and the card requires a 20 euro deposit. Thank you, Hotel de France.

Carmen was a perfect hostess, very attentive and involved with her guests. Thanks to her and all the staff for doing such a good job. Everyone was so friendly! The hotel is right on the beach in a great location. Our room was cleaned properly every day, and breakfast was well taken care of. ✅✅✅ 👌👌👌👌

There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and stores in this nice area, and a sandy beach sits right behind the hotel. That made the location especially pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay, and the service was very good too.
