Hotel Des Bains

I’m sorry to leave a negative review because the owner is genuinely kind and affable, but that doesn’t fix the hotel’s problems. I expected much more and won’t be back. It’s only 10 meters from the train station, so getting a comfortable night’s sleep is difficult. Sun loungers at the beach cost extra, even though I thought they were included. The food was very limited, there was no choice of dishes, breakfast was practically nonexistent, and the buffet was simply put on your table. Daily room cleaning was sloppy. In my view, this place really shouldn’t be considered a two-star hotel.

The rooms are dated and there aren’t many amenities, but the service makes up for a lot. We were welcomed warmly, fed well with home-cooked meals, and the staff made sure we had enough. When it was time to leave, they walked us to the car and said goodbye like we were family. We didn’t get that kind of treatment at a hotel where we’d spent a kidney. Thanks, Fiorella and Irina ❤️ It’s a peaceful spot, just two minutes from the evening stroll and a short walk from the beach. There’s also a lovely pool. Must try!

Fiorella was so kind, friendly, and helpful that we spent four peaceful, happy days feeling at home. The hotel isn’t new, but it sits in a lovely green setting near the metro and the sea. We ate really well, and the value for money was excellent. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to unwind without spending much and isn’t too demanding. We’ll be back soon.

Fiorella is genuinely kind and makes you feel right at home. The pool is kept clean, and the beach is just a five-minute walk away. Our room was spacious and clean, and the food was excellent and plentiful. For a two-star hotel, it has a lot of amenities that you sometimes don’t even find in three-star places. Great experience.
