Nautic Beach Hotel

The room was so cramped I could barely open a suitcase fully, and we were put right beside the elevator, so the noise and disruption were constant. The parking we were assigned was a 30-minute walk from the hotel. The value for money was simply unacceptable, and the stay fell far short of our expectations.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, explaining things and offering advice whenever we had questions. The price was attractive, and the room was small but sufficient and very clean. Thin walls were the downside: you could hear other guests, especially when they came back late and made noise. There’s lots around the hotel, including bars, cafes, ice cream parlors, and other attractions. It sits on a main one-way street with traffic restrictions on part of it, so there isn’t much car traffic. The walk to the center of Rimini takes about an hour, though scooters are plentiful and buses run often. You can choose a sea-view room, and have coffee from the hotel buffet and a croissant on the terrace while looking out at the endless sea.

The service was terrible and incompetent. Housekeeping came into my room without knocking while I was there, and one of the staff stole my perfume.

The beach is right next door, and we’re people who try to stay positive about everything 😹. But we expected a pleasant, decent stay based on the reviews, and got a room far too small for four people. The photos had given us a different impression. The rooms also felt only half finished. The men on staff were generally very pleasant, while the women were mostly unpleasant. Only 3 women out of 10 were kind and smiling. Breakfast had good coffee, but little choice. We waited a long time for food to be replenished; the containers were small and emptied quickly, and the one person managing it couldn’t keep up. Meat was touching the cheese, and there wasn’t enough cutlery. Parking costs 10 euros per day and is very far from the hotel, so you don’t want to forget anything in the car.
