Hotel Oasi del Mare

The lively scene nearby starts around 8pm, with street passersby and guests from neighboring hotels, dance competitions, award ceremonies, karaoke, and evening dancing on hotel terraces. Many people come for that atmosphere, and we enjoyed joining in for several nights. Still, don't expect it to quiet down before 11pm. People can be loud after midnight as they return to their own accommodation, and guests coming back to this hotel can also disturb the peace. Noise carries through the interconnected stairwell, which is beautiful, light, and airy. My wife and I stayed 11 nights in June and watched the hotel move into its busy season. It was exciting to see how dynamically the hotel and staff handled being full. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, especially Micael, Nico, and Eva, who were pleasant and helped us throughout. The hotel is ideally located for buses to Rimini and Riccione, and the beach and promenade are under five minutes away on foot. If you enjoy social running, Marecchia Park has a Saturday Parkrun; we easily caught bus 11 from the end of our street at 8am and arrived with time to spare. The hotel also gives guests a ticket for free entry to Beach Village for the whole stay. It's a 10-15 minute bus ride toward Riccione, and a must for thrill seekers and families with young kids. Breakfast is fantastic, with homemade cakes and pastries, milk alternatives, a toastie maker, and two bean-to-cup coffee machines. You choose your lunch and dinner, with a fabulous range of Italian regional specialties. We especially liked the swordfish and mussel dishes, the seafood was very fresh because of the hotel's location. I'd rate the hotel and stay 9.5 out of 10 for the superb location, wonderful staff, and value for money. The staff made it a pleasure and treated us more like family than guests. Thanks, Paul and Natalia
