Hotel Petrarca

The breakfast was good, but the hotel was disappointing. Rooms are small, the furniture and equipment are all old, and there’s no sound insulation.

It’s right behind the beach, prices are fair, and the receptionists speak English and are helpful. The rooms are on the small side but very clean and well equipped. Breakfast is very good too, and you can have coffee on the restaurant terrace 🩷. A perfect hotel if you’re looking for somewhere to stay on holiday in Rimini.

Lorenzo, the manager, was amazingly friendly and helpful, possibly some of the best hotel service I’ve had. Breakfast was homemade, fantastic, and had way more choices than the usual Italian sweet breakfast. The beach is just a stone’s throw away. I also loved the electronic shutters on the balcony door, which made the room completely dark for daytime naps. Excellent stay, and I’d definitely come back.

The room was quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and tidied often, even though it was on a busy tourist street full of bars, food, and shops. The beach is just down the road. It’s well located, about a 20-minute walk from Rimini Train Station and 10 minutes from the first San Marino bus stop. I had an affordable single room. It wasn’t very modern, but everything worked as it should. The staff were very courteous and helpful despite some language barriers. Breakfast was very simple and cheap, but tasted good, so I can’t fault it. Recommended!
