Hotel Tres Jolie

I want to warn people about my experience. I was asked for a €300 deposit to confirm a reservation, and they were kind until I sent the money. When I asked them to confirm the booking, they said they had no deposit. For nine days, I corresponded with them and sent every document I could showing that I'd paid. They kept saying nothing had come from my side, then cancelled the reservation on the grounds that the deposit hadn't been paid. I found them rude and very unprofessional. Avoid this hotel. It felt like a complete scam.

The photos make it look a little better than it is in person, but for this price it's still a better choice than other hotels in Rimini. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were kept clean and tidy. My room on the third floor had WiFi connection problems, though that may matter more to some people than others. The beach, attractions and shops are all close by. A good place to stay and relax.

The cooked food was the weak point for me, a bit like a school canteen, though probably fine given the low price. Parking is limited, so finding a spot can be very difficult, and the walls are thin enough that you hear quite a lot. On the plus side, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is very good, and the sea is about a four-minute walk away. The place is clean and tidy every day, and the quality for the price is good. For meals, you choose two of six options for lunch and two of six for dinner, plus you can help yourself to anything from the cold buffet.
