Jammin' Hostel & Bar

The sheets were very clean, though you have to put them on yourself. The rooms were okay, but ours, the shower, and the toilet weren’t cleaned during our four-day stay. The common area also isn’t open at all hours like it is in some hostels. Staff weren’t helpful when I needed something like scissors or kitchen items outside the set hours. The toilet flush button in the shared bathroom broke apart when I pressed it. I felt sexually harassed by the receptionist. He was kind and friendly at first, then started asking for hugs and repeatedly tried to force a kiss, following me on the stairs and to the room. He kept insisting he had feelings, but was pushing his sexual needs on me. By the fourth day, I didn’t want to return to the hostel because he was there all the time. The hostel itself was okay, but not worth the price. I was disappointed by the lack of cleaning and the harassment, and wouldn’t recommend it to women traveling alone. I wouldn’t be keen to stay there again.

The check-in was easy, and the beach is close by. My room was spacious, but the mattress was awful, probably just too old. There was no toilet paper for the whole two nights I was there, so I’m not sure how often they clean. Jammin' Hostel Rimini felt pretty average when I visited. Maybe it was out of season, but it didn’t seem aimed at young people or parties, and I only saw middle-aged guests.

The staff were polite, helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. They also said to come tell them if there were problems with the noisy neighbours. We did have a loud neighbour on two nights, so sound can be an issue. The rooms were fine, and they cleaned every day, though the cleaning after someone checked out could be better. The wardrobe was awkward to secure with a padlock, but my friends and I had the whole room to ourselves, so only we and the staff could get in.

There’s a kitchen and dining room on the first floor where you can cook your own food. The hostel has six beds in each room, with separate rooms for men and women. Hot water isn’t available all the time.
