Park Hotel Serena

The family room was so cramped that it was hard to move around, and it didn’t feel like a proper family room. Based on our stay, I wouldn’t book one here. Evenings were boring too, since the hotel had no activities, and reception could have been more proactive. Meals were a bright spot: the food was tasty and varied, and everything in the kitchen was very clean. The waitstaff were friendly and cheerful. Housekeeping was excellent as well, with daily room cleaning, fresh towels each day, and neatly made beds. We often couldn’t get drinks despite having an all-inclusive booking. The machines were regularly empty or out of order, especially in the last few days, which was frustrating. The pool also didn’t look very clean. If you want somewhere quiet with good food and cleanliness, it could suit you. Just don’t expect big rooms or lively entertainment. Thanks to the staff who did their best with the things that worked well.

We were in room 222. The food was fantastic and our waiter Dan was a 10 out of 10. The hotel was great, but the bathroom was a real letdown: it wasn’t clean, and the shower enclosure was terrible.

Cycling from the hotel into the scenic hinterland of Rimini Nord was ideal. They can arrange a guide and a hire bike if you need one, and I’d recommend staying here for a great week of riding. You won’t be disappointed. Two big thumbs up. The staff were friendly and took care of everything. There was ample food for cyclists doing big miles and refuelling for the next day. The relaxation area and bar, with cold drinks and coffee, were well serviced and nicely placed in the hotel. My room was large and comfortable, with a good bed, shower, Wi-Fi, and TV. I also had a big balcony with a good beach view.

The price felt a little high for the hotel’s star rating, but I had a satisfactory stay. Service was good and the room comfortable. The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, and the pool was just what we needed for a break from long days at nearby attractions.
