Hotel Trieste

We had a fantastic stay, with a superb breakfast and very clean, well-equipped rooms. The staff were helpful and always available. It's perfectly placed for enjoying both the beach and the city. Highly recommended.

We booked three rooms for ten people and arrived at different times. One person checked in ahead of the rest, then noticed a broken door a couple of hours after going to the room and reported it. Hours later, the hotel said the cleaning staff hadn't seen any damage before and demanded a €150 fine. We disputed it, but were told we had to pay to stay. We left a review that day because the handling felt unfair. Two days later, a staff member showed one of us a message supposedly from management saying €150 wouldn't cover the damage they claimed we'd caused. They demanded another €850 and said the fine would go up if we didn't remove the earlier review, or we'd have to leave the hotel. We found this unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

The rooms at Hotel Trieste were spacious and clean, with housekeeping keeping them tidy throughout my visit. I also found the staff helpful, especially when I needed a taxi. Getting one was easy most of the time, but availability during peak hours was limited and sometimes caused delays. The location was convenient, with a restaurant nearby, and there were dining choices for different tastes. The elevator only fits two people, which could be awkward with large luggage. Breakfast was decent, with a reasonable selection and quality, though nothing exceptional. Overall, I had a comfortable, enjoyable visit to Hotel Trieste in Rimini, and would recommend it to travelers looking for a pleasant stay.

For a 4 star hotel, there were too many cut corners. The room had just one shampoo, few power outlets and no nightstand by the bed. They also wanted to charge us 20 euro for our guest. The toilet clogged the first time we used it, and the night shift receptionist didn't know much about the area.
