The kids liked the sweet breakfast selection, and the fresh croissant and fruit were the best parts. The savory options were poor: one ham, one salami, one cheese, something like scrambled eggs, sausage, and boiled eggs that may have been from the previous day. The spa was closed, even though we chose the hotel for its small spa. We booked a triple room with two double beds and a twin bed, but got a double room with something that looked like a bed but was much smaller and very uncomfortable. Everything else in the room was set up for two, including the chairs, and the double bed had been moved to make space for the extra bed. If the hotel was full and had no other option, I could understand, but I’d expect an apology and perhaps some compensation. The staff were very friendly, and parking was free, though the listed price was €10 per night. That was about the only positive. We paid over $100 a night, which isn’t cheap, so I can’t excuse this as a minor issue.

The staff were kind and suggested shops and attractions to visit. Breakfast was good, with several cakes to choose from, and there’s both private parking and free public parking nearby. The hotel is comfortable and close to the beach, around a 15-minute walk from the town center. There was a noise from outside that disturbed my sleep at night. The spa needs attention too. It was cold, had just one changing room for everyone, and didn’t feel relaxing. If the hotel offers this area, it should be kept in proper condition.

They cancelled my booking, saying my credit card wasn’t valid, and did the same to eight other bookings for the same dates. The hotel then contacted those people to say they could book again, but at four times the price they’d originally paid five months earlier. They also told me that if I booked again, I’d have to pay by bank transfer. It sounds dodgy to me, like they could take the money and cancel again. Be careful and don’t book here. There are plenty of hotels in Rimini that won’t treat customers this way.
