Camping Sole e Mare

This restaurant and pizzeria is surrounded by greenery at the campsite, with a pleasant, well-kept atmosphere and very friendly staff who are always ready to help. There's a good range of dishes, all excellent and made with quality ingredients. We finished the pizzas, so the only dinner photos I have are of the superb desserts!

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the large pizzas were average in flavor, though not burnt. The setting isn't anything special, but there's parking outside the campsite too. I think it's a suitable place to serve people holidaying around here.

The fries were soft and tasteless, and the service felt superficial and rude, apart from the Egyptian pizza chef, who was very kind and friendly. Paying was a hassle for our large group because they wouldn't split the bill, even though we asked politely. Many people could only pay by card, so it wasn't possible to reimburse whoever paid for everyone. When we repeated that we wanted separate bills, the response was curt and quite rude. They then suggested splitting into small groups in an irritated tone, but that was difficult when people weren't willing to cover someone else's share.

The food here is genuinely excellent, and the people running the restaurant are great. Since it’s inside the campsite, we also found the staff to be unusually skilled and welcoming.
