The hot tub and those stunning views were the cherry on top. Zidane made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived, and he was so kind, hospitable, and responsive. Staff cleaned the room each day and topped up the fridge with water and soda, which was a lovely touch. This place has our hearts. We'll absolutely stay here again if we return to Riomaggiore. Being so close to the water and up high comes with a lot of stairs, though they're manageable. Our standard carry-ons, around 22 pounds, were no problem. I'd leave a 50-pound suitcase at home or use a service to store or bring a large bag to the hotel. The location is just above the marina and beach, near the best publicly accessible view, and it's reasonably quiet. Our room was very nice and the AC worked great. The free minibar was a big plus, restocked daily, so we didn't have to go out for a drink or worry about paying for water at checkout. Other hotels we stayed at charged 1-3€ for water and 3-5€ for soda. The included prosecco made a great start to the trip as we sat on the patios and enjoyed what we thought was the best view in Riomaggiore, especially at sunset. The hot tubs weren't very hot due to Cinque Terre regulations, but they were refreshing and a nice way to end the night. My wife and I stayed at Creuza de Ma on our honeymoon, and it was easily the best place we stayed.

The view was unmatched. While most people had to crowd onto a narrow path for the sunset, we could just head to the balcony and enjoy it. The staff were so kind and informative, too. There are a lot of stairs to get to this wonderful hotel, but they were absolutely worth it. Perfect location, highly recommend.

Creuza de Ma has the charm and amenities of a much pricier luxury hotel, though its small size means it can't offer things like meeting rooms. We had full comfort in the rooms, refined decor, private and shared hot tubs, sun terraces, and a free minibar. It's a four-room property with a wonderful spot overlooking Riomaggiore's marina and a 180-degree sea view. Staff aren't on site, but they answer WhatsApp requests within seconds, which worked better than many in-person services. I warmly recommend it for a vacation.
