Le Giare Rooms

The host gave us useful tips about places to visit and places to avoid. The location is up a hill, but it's really not that far, and the place is fabulous and very clean. Just be ready for the uphill walk.

We really appreciated the included breakfast, which was a nice way to start the day, and the hotel had a great view. It's just outside the city center but up a big hill. Still, it's 100% worth staying here if you're planning to see all 5 towns. Viola at reception was helpful and friendly. Even when she wasn't physically in the building, we knew how to reach her with questions.

Breakfast came from a local restaurant about a 15-minute walk away. There were two omelette options, plus orange juice and a coffee of your choice. Our room was very clean and environmentally friendly, and you could walk everywhere. We loved the sea view right outside the room, and I adored the cats on our balcony. There was no safe in the room, so we had to leave our passports, though the manager assured us it was a very safe town. Also, if you're traveling with big suitcases, the taxi service isn't great and you might have to carry them up the hill. That was good exercise for me!

There's a lot of stairs up to the hotel, but the walk isn't actually far from the main street. The terrace has a beautiful view, and a simple breakfast at a nearby restaurant was included. I loved my stay here.
