Barbara was kind, helpful, and full of good recommendations. On our last morning, while we enjoyed a Stella Boat tour of Cinque Terre, she let us check out late. Our family of five stayed in two rooms at MEB, and it was a great experience. Everything was clean and comfortable, with plenty of snacks and nespresso. Barbara met us at the train station and walked us to the property, about five minutes away. There were fewer stairs than at some other Air B&B's and hotels in Cinque Terre, though still some, so I'd pack light. It's close to the water and had great views. I've stayed in Riomaggiore a couple of times before, and MEB will be my choice when I return.

We had a great time in Riomaggiora and feel lucky to have chosen this hotel. The room is newly renovated and beautiful, with breathtaking views over the water and city. The owner went out of her way to answer all our questions and help with what we needed. Both the room and the service were amazing, and I'd highly recommend staying here. Just remember, there's no parking, so you'll need to arrive by train or marina.

Everything feels brand new, and the location is great. There's a nice terrace, air conditioning, a fridge, coffee maker, and tea pot, plus a friendly owner. You can feel and hear the trains passing through the tunnel under the village at night.
