The staff were so friendly, helped us with the map, and suggested places to visit. We had a great stay. Our room was spacious and clean, and we especially liked having a kitchen stocked with free snacks, teas, coffee, and condiments. We also accidentally broke a cup and weren't charged for it.

I never checked in, but was still charged over 200 EUR for one night. I had reserved Scorci di mare through booking.com after filtering for places that advertised on-site parking. My spouse had a fractured arm and couldn't manage normally, especially with all our luggage, so parking was the reason I booked it. Only after booking, while messaging paolo, did I find out the parking was 600 - 700 m away, up and down stairs, with no help and no way to drive to the property. I asked to cancel as soon as I learned this, three days before check-in, because it wouldn't work for us. The manager and owner, paolo, repeatedly ignored my requests. I never went, and still lost the money. To me, this was greed and a clear misrepresentation of the accommodation. I never met paolo in person, but his actions gave me a strong impression of his character. Consider this a warning if you're thinking of dealing with him or the property he represents.

The location could hardly be better, and Paolo did so much to make sure we had a good stay. We loved the place and wished we could have stayed longer. The room worked perfectly for us and our 13 year old son. The bathroom is small, but has a stand-up shower and all you need, especially by Italian hotel standards. Just know there are a lot, a lot of steps, so heavy luggage will be tough. For us, it was 1000000% worth the climb!

The staff made our one night in Cinque Terre easy. They kept our bags before check-in and after checkout, helped us get a Cinque Terre Card, and put together an itinerary for our two days in the area. The place is close to the station, which is a big help when you're hauling luggage up and down all those steps. We didn't book an ocean-view room, but ours was still clean, roomy, and comfortable.
