Borgo San Martino Residence Hotel & SPA

The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast had lots of choice and was delicious, and the restaurant food was superb. The spa was fantastic, and the large pool had plenty of sunbeds. Margarita at reception was one of the kindest people you could meet. I’d rate this place very highly. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 9 nights in a lovely, peaceful setting and were happy with everything. The staff were friendly, and the room cleaning was perfect. The cleaning staff were especially nice. Breakfast had enough to suit everyone’s needs. We’ll definitely come back sometime and can only recommend the place to others. ☺️♥️

We spent a lovely week in the beautiful villa. The room and villa were gorgeous, the pool was amazing, and the small restaurant had fairly priced drinks and snacks. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly, and breakfast had everything we needed. I especially liked the peaceful location. It’s quiet but close to the autostrada, making it easy to get around Tuscany. There was no AC, which was the only downside, but we managed with a fan :) I hope to stay here again. Grazie mille!

We usually don’t return to places we’ve visited, but we’re thinking about making an exception for San Martino Country Resort. It was one of the best places we’ve stayed, and we highly recommend it. We were looking for a hotel to use as a base while visiting Tuscany, instead of moving from place to place, and were amazed by the resort’s beauty. It’s surrounded by nature and has everything you could want. Many places are easy to reach from here: Cecina Beach, Pisa in 50 minutes, Firenze and Siena in 90 minutes, Pienza, where the Gladiator scene was filmed, and even the thermal baths at Saturnia. The scenic routes through Val d'Orcia and Val d'Elsa are also easy to access. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted. There’s a large car park, a very warm welcome, and friendly, helpful staff who are always smiling. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and air-conditioned. The new owners, who took over a couple of years ago, are clearly working hard to make this place a success. We both had the RIS-ZEN massage twice, and highly recommend it. The hotel offers a great wellness experience. Breakfast has everything you could want and more, and the restaurant is fantastic, with amazing staff. The chef must have golden hands. Every dish was delicious, just as you’d hope when eating in Italy, especially Tuscany. There’s also a large swimming pool with sunbeds and plenty of shade if you want to get out of the sun.
