When our car broke down on the last evening, Elisabeth quickly helped us contact a repair shop. Thanks to her support, we got home only a few hours late and still made it back on the scheduled day. She had lots of useful tips for guests and was always helpful. We spent a week here at the end of August, and the view of rolling hills with olive groves and vineyards made us slow down and feel happy as soon as we arrived. Elisabeth, the owner, and her family were on holiday there too, and their warm welcome made the place feel familiar and welcoming. There are four apartments, each with its own outdoor spot, pergola, and hammock, and a pool with plenty of loungers in both sun and shade. The sea is easy to reach by car, and Livorno, Pisa, and Lucca are accessible by train or car. We're already looking forward to coming back 🫶

One thing to know before you go: the final 2.5 km to the house are on an unpaved road, with deep potholes in some places. A lowered sports car would not be suitable. Once there, though, the setting is lovely, up on a hill among olive trees. The four apartments have the dishes, utensils, and appliances you need, and our refrigerator was stocked with essentials when we arrived. Each has a private patio under a pergola with a hammock. There's a pool with lots of loungers and parasols, and the very warm, helpful owner lives on-site.

Elisabeth and her family made us feel so welcome during our lovely July holiday at this agriturismo in the Tuscan countryside. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and very practical, and we wanted for nothing apart from a few more days to relax by that beautiful pool. We hope to come back soon. You'll need a car since the property is a little off the beaten path. It's peaceful, with lovely views over the Tuscan countryside, and there's a pool. The hostess was very friendly. In the village, about 3-4 km away, we found good restaurants at affordable prices.
