Really nice rooms, and the service was great.

We spent seven days here. It’s quiet and relaxed, and the staff were kind and friendly. The rooms are quite big, though the TV only has Italian channels. They were fine with special requests for vegetarian or vegan meals. The food is okay for a 2-star hotel, nothing special, but decent enough. The showers are a bit small and don’t work perfectly, though they’re usable, so it wasn’t a major complaint. Pretty good if you just need a place to sleep and eat.

The food was so tasty, and I loved having breakfast and dinner there. I’d recommend it, 10 out of 10!

We found this place late in the afternoon after visiting the gorgeous Gardens & Grotto just across the street. They were actually closed, but the family welcomed us in and offered to make something for us. Maria’s eggplant parmesan was the best I’ve ever had, and I really love eggplant parm. She’s everything you’d picture an Italian mother cooking wonderful Italian food to be. A few years ago the lovely family in my picture took over the hotel and restaurant. Manu (daughter), Maria (Mother) and Leo (Father) run a wonderful family place, and we felt welcomed and treated like family. If you want a beautiful location and service that feels like being taken into an Italian home, this is the place. It’s also a short drive to other attractions nearby, and the bigger town, with lots of restaurants, Gelato shops, and other stores, is only about 5 to 10 minutes away.
