ETRA suites & apartments

We’ve been to Riva six times and had a few days in the new Etra Apartments in mid-May, so we had places next door to compare with. These are brand-new, spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, just like the pictures. The beds were very comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the staff were friendly. The rooftop pool has plenty of loungers, and the lake is just a few steps away. There’s also an enclosed bike room with outlets for electric bikes, a laundry room, a small bakery, and a private fenced parking lot, though some spaces are tight because of the posts. They’ve thought of a lot and done a great job, so we highly recommend the place. A few things could be better. There’s no shower shelf, and balcony clothes racks are present in some apartments but not others, even though they’re very practical. Our neighbors were loud, and the apartment was a bit noisy. Checkout at 10:30 AM feels very early for the high price. We asked, and heard from others too, that late checkout, luggage storage, or keeping the car parked for a short time afterward wasn’t possible. Since many people still have plans on departure day, that’s worth knowing when you book. We’ve usually had a different experience, and got the impression these requests are generally turned down outright.
