Hotel Al Maso

We really liked that the hotel welcomes dogs, and ours could come along to the pool area. Dogs aren’t allowed in the breakfast room, which is understandable. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both pools, inside and out, were clean. The indoor pool was pleasantly warm and great for relaxing. Breakfast had lots to pick from at the buffet, including bread, muesli, cake and fruit, plus hot dishes like eggs and toast made to order. Highly recommended!

Great facilities, and the staff were lovely, friendly and really helpful.

We stayed two nights for €52 a night, breakfast and spa included, so it was good value. We were in the older, unrenovated part, but the room was quite decent and clean. Breakfast was made fresh and came quickly, with good service. There were seven menu choices, plus extras like yogurt, bread and drinks. The mountains are all around, Lidl is across the road, and the bus stops are a five-minute walk away. We’ll definitely return!

For this price it’s decent value, though nothing especially memorable. The gym is pretty poor, and the wellness facilities were easy to forget, but neither felt too bad for what we paid. Breakfast wasn’t fantastic, as some comments said, but it wasn’t terrible either. At a moderate price, you have to keep expectations realistic. It felt more like an apartment hotel, though there’s no kitchen, so lunch and dinner mean eating out. The lake is too far to walk to, so plan on a car or bike.
