The rooms are modest and small, but clean and practical. There's no air conditioning, as this isn't a five star hotel. It has the feel of a family run place, with friendly multilingual staff. The restaurant serves simple, delicious Italian food, and the outdoor pool has sun loungers. There are great hiking and cycling routes around Pregasina. Drivers should take care after the last tunnel, where the road narrows and oncoming traffic can be tricky on the bends. What keeps bringing us back to beautiful Pregasina and Hotel Panorama is the location and the value. From our balcony we could see Lake Garda, Monte Baldo across the water, and Riva del Garda. The city lights on a southern night make the view feel magical. It's our favorite hotel. Until next time!

The bruschetta didn't seem fresh at all, and the lasagna had hardly any meat. The food was awful.

Never again. It took us 2 hours to climb all the way up on our bikes, and the staff who greeted us seemed disorganized and terrible. They couldn't seat us at two tables and offered to move us to the garden instead, where the menu and choices were limited. Their attitude came across as arrogant and lazy. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

After walking or cycling up the hill, this is a lovely spot for a filling lunch or snack, and the value is outstanding. The staff are friendly and take good care of you. There's a fresh water fountain in the little square beside it, so stick your head under before you sit down.

The ride up by bike was worth it for the lake view from the beer garden and the Schneider wheat beer. The road itself is in really bad condition.
