Hotel Portici Romantik & Wellness

The wellness area is great value, and the location is perfect, right in the middle of the square. Food is high quality, service is too, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and clean. I love this place and will definitely come back.

We had a great stay. The spa and wellness center was a highlight, beautiful and worth using every day. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean and fresh. Our corner room facing the square could get a bit loud at times. I’d recommend the hotel.

I can’t speak to the hotel, only the restaurant. We won’t eat there again. There weren’t many customers, but the waiting staff still paid little attention to us. The chicken in my Caesar salad was dry, tough, and tasteless, and the lasagne wasn’t hot enough. Staff seemed uninterested when we mentioned it, and we had to ask for dessert. Not a good experience.

The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and parking was easy: we got a pass to unload right outside, then directions to the garage about a block away, which you can reach underground. It’s so close that unloading at the hotel isn’t really necessary. We loved the wellness spa too, especially the saunas, steam room, hot tub, and salt room after arriving. Hotel Portici was perfect for us. The rooms were spacious, with plenty of room for clothes and suitcases, and the location puts you steps from the city center, shops, restaurants, and Lake Garda. We’d stay here again and would have dinner at Al Volt again too.
