If you’re there to surf or learn, this hotel makes sense since it’s set up for that. As a non-surfer, I didn’t find much to do. The so-called private beach was only a small patch of artificial grass, and I didn’t feel especially welcome at the little restaurant and bar downstairs. The room and terrace were both quite large, though there wasn’t much furniture. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was nice, but the buffet was a bit sparse. Cappuccino and espresso cost extra at breakfast, with only plain American coffee included, and there were no fresh fruit juices. The bathroom had no ventilation, which is a deal-breaker for me. The hotel sits right beside the street, so parking can be tricky. The view was okay but less than I expected: my room was at the back, and the main building blocked most of the lake.

The staff were so welcoming, and breakfast was good. Our room was clean, and the location worked perfectly for windsurfing and wingfoiling. Ariol? at reception gave us great tips for places to see and restaurants to try. We’re really grateful to him.

The staff are friendly and it’s still a great hotel for windsurfing, but the new policies this season are a real letdown. They charge extra if you park before 3 pm or leave after 10 am, plus €10,00 if your car is longer than 4,2 m, even a VW Golf class car. There’s a breakfast buffet, but a second coffee or tea costs extra too. Tea is €4,00, which feels embarrassing for a hotel like this. Some staff members apologized for the management’s decisions. I hope they rethink these awful policies, or I can’t recommend the hotel anymore.

We had a lovely stay and really liked the atmosphere. Our room was a comfortable in-between size, with a beautiful balcony facing the lake. There’s a restaurant right beside the house, and the food there was very good.

We stayed in April and had a splendid view from the balcony, which had chairs. The bedroom itself was basic, but the location around Limone was the best. Staff were helpful and nice, and Wi-Fi was free. We ate lunch at the surf center, where there were healthy choices, a salad bar, and good pasta. Dinner was a very good three-course meal for £18.00, and breakfast brought a buffet with a great choice of hot drinks. Parking is available in the car park for an extra fee, though free spaces can also be found.
