Lara was such a great contact during our stay and gave us lots of useful recommendations. The apartment, “Blue Note,” was just right, and that lake view was amazing. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back. :-)

Flavia was so welcoming, and she gives you room to enjoy peace and privacy in a really lovely place. We had a small garden, a pool, and beautiful views of both the lake and mountains. Everything was just perfect. Grazie mille, ci vediamo presto 👋🇮🇹🇧🇪

We spent six nights at Chalet Julia in Varandino and felt right at home. The house was clean, comfortable, and so well equipped that we really didn't lack anything. There were plenty of towels, the beds were comfortable, and extra pillows and blankets were easy to find. The kitchen had pans, pots, spices, olive oil, dish soap, tea towels, and everything else we needed. A washing machine and detergent were provided too, which was handy for a longer stay. There was lots of outdoor seating and a clean grill, great for evenings outside. The location is fairly secluded, so arriving by car or scooter makes sense. The closest supermarket is about a five-minute walk, but the route goes downhill and then uphill, so doing that regularly on foot isn't ideal. The neighbors were especially kind and even brought us fresh fruit. We also found Nutella, jam, and little sweets as a welcome gift, such a thoughtful start. Check-in and check-out were easy and smooth. We'd gladly return.

One star because I can't give less. The agency didn't reply to my Booking messages about a possible extra charge for a cat. I only got any response after contacting them directly. If I hadn't kept pushing, anyone could have shown up with 14 cats and they might not have noticed, since the Booking messages only mentioned small dogs. This should be stated clearly in the listing, without having to report it to Booking. Thankfully, cancellation was free. The agency refused to cancel, so I’m grateful to Booking support for stepping in and canceling for them after considering my Genius 3 status and the number of bookings I make each year, at least seven, since I work from home and take long weekends. They also followed up with checks, and somehow “free pets” stopped appearing in some of the agency’s apartment listings. As I told the agency on the phone, they’ve lost me as a customer, and my family, friends, and colleagues too. I work for a multinational, and we won't recommend this agency. All they could do was apologize, cancel the reservation, and correct their apartment descriptions. Instead...
