Families should be careful here. During dinner the music was so loud we couldn’t talk, the buffet food was cold, and breakfast was disappointing. The hotel has a nice view from the dining room and could have a lot of potential, but poor management made our stay really negative. We left a night early because the whole situation was unpleasant for our family. The photos look nice, but everything felt old and badly maintained. They switched off the heating from 2 am to 6 am, and the room temperature dropped to 16 degrees. Staff said that was normal for sleeping. Our one-year-old and two other kids were freezing, and the electric heater they gave us was completely broken and dangerous to use (see in the pics). When we reported it in the morning, they denied what happened, then shouted and laughed at us in front of other guests instead of explaining. The atmosphere was already pretty sad and unpleasant, especially for families.

The only thing that bothered me was the €2.50 charge for a bottle of microfiltered still water. It seemed excessive to me, though that’s just my personal opinion after an otherwise excellent stay. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and did everything they could to meet our needs. With our two little girls, aged 2 and 4, we especially appreciated the entertainment and the staff’s patience with the usual tantrums at that age. They supported us parents throughout. Our rooms were very comfortable, and having two connecting rooms with separate bathrooms was a real treat for a family of four. The double entrance also gives older kids more independence with their space and schedules. Breakfast and dinner were excellent too. A perfect hotel for families.

The food deserves a special mention. We were full board for several days and loved every meal, better than anything we’d had at another hotel. Compliments to the Chef and the Maître d', who were professional, very kind, and friendly, and to all the dining room staff, who were discreet, quick, and kind. The hotel sits in a private park, close to Rivisondoli and other villages. The ski slopes and lifts are only a few minutes away by car. There’s entertainment for kids and adults, with two indoor play areas for children and one outside. The manager was always around and available. The state-of-the-art spa is in a separate building nearby and was due to be completed in the coming months. See you soon!

We had three wonderful days here, and the food was beyond praise, with dishes that beat what I’ve had at a Michelin-starred restaurant. I’d just come back from a weekend with my husband and son. It’s a quaint hotel in a great spot for reaching the slopes and other attractions, and the staff were friendly and always attentive to what guests needed.
