Garnv La Rua Nel Bosco

We contacted the property because a health issue meant we couldn’t make it there, and asked if we could move our arrival date. Mr. Attilio first said there were no dates until June. Booking denied that, showing availability from the weekend after our planned arrival. He then said he would reschedule if he sold the room. He put it back on Booking, and it sold, since it was soon no longer available. We still haven’t heard anything from the B&B owner about rearranging our stay. The main issue isn’t so much that he didn’t reschedule us, but that he immediately claimed there were no dates until June and then didn’t call back after selling the room. He’s losing a guest who had already stayed for 90 euros. Update after the reply: My son and wife had a fever, as I told you on the phone. We stayed in Rivisondoli anyway, just not at your place. After the reply: I wish I could give 0. We never reviewed our earlier hotel experience, which we had nothing to say about, but we did review the restaurant, with some very good ice-flavored ravioli and friendliness.

The rooms were warm, comfortable, and clean, and breakfast was excellent, with homemade desserts. Mr. Attilio was welcoming and very kind throughout. We’ve just spent two nights at B&B La Rua nel Bosco, and as before, it turned out to be the best choice. See you soon.

The wolf room was adorable, with a small balcony looking out over the square and mountains. Pets are welcome and even get pampered. It’s a charming, cozy B&B, with woodland animal themed rooms and carved wood decorations. The staff and owner were genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was delicious, Italian style, with homemade pastries. :)

I really liked the relaxed feel at Rua, and Rivisondoli is such a colorful village. The petunias and geraniums were in bloom, and kudos to whoever looks after the greenery, especially the night sky plants decorating the streetlights. They’re much lusher than plants in ordinary balcony boxes, which are easy to water. The B&B is mountain style, quiet, and very well kept. Each room features a local animal species with explanations for curious guests. I think it may have been renovated recently, since everything looks new. Breakfast was varied and mostly chocolate-based. It’s good for families, close to the square and shops, and my son has already asked to book a weekend away. Dogs are allowed with the owner’s consent, so Luna came along.
